Local Course

This golf course is prety fun. Located in St. George Utah just 5 minuits from down town. This local favorite course wont break the bank. It's a cheap golf course with some very fun holes. The front nine starts off with a simple par 5, but one has to be careful not to hit the ball OB on the right side other than that its straight forward. The next hole is a risk reward tee shot. Southgate Golf Course added some new holes on the front because of the St. George flood that happend a few years ago. The flood took out 5 holes on the front nine. The back 9 is one of my favorite layouts, the opening hole is a par 4 uphill then you go thru some residental areas of the course. Then you end with two par 5's.

Full Range

Southgate has a golf proshop a full range. There range is one of the best in St. George, the teaching pro Mike Smith has taught many LPGA touring pros, and some PGA touring pros. If you can get a lession from him it would be worth your money.
